I was watching last nights America’s Next Top Model and I noticed how tiny Tyra’s nose is. I always thought it was weird that she has such large features overall and this teeny nose so I did a little research. Of course this is all speculation, I have never met Tyra and had the opportunity to ask how many Rhinoplastys she has had but let’s face it, these images prove the question isn’t “Did Tyra have a nose job?”, it is, “How many nose jobs & revision rhinoplastys has Tyra had?”.

From the above images you can see a few distinctly different noses. Starting from her Classmates.com high school photo on the top left. Tyra had a very normal nose back then, fitting for her face and proportionate to her large features. The image following to the right you can clearly see her nose is considerably daintier but it is asymmetrical and heavier on the right side. The photo on the top right is how Tyra’s nose looks now, very thinned down, defined and even on both sides. The three photos below, her nose looks similar to the center image in the top row, not quite as asymmetrical, it looks evened out but not as thin and defined as it is in her current photos. I personally feel that she has had amazing luck with her rhinoplastys. They have, over time, continued to bring her closer and closer to having the “perfect” nose. Actually I don’t  think her current nose is perfect, it is a bit small and sloped for her face but it is a huge improvement (if that is the look you’re going for).

It is strange to me that Tyra makes such a big deal about proving her boobs are real but never mentions that she has had her nose done. Or has she mentioned it? I did some research and I can only find speculation, no quotes from Tyra admitting her nose has been altered. I guess she wants to continue pretending she is “all natural”. I personally don’t see what there is to be ashamed of? she looks great. Nose jobs are so common these days and she often discusses plastic surgery on her show, I would think she would dive in one day and admit her nose is done. It would definitely be a humanizing characteristic and cause more young people to relate to her and feel confident in confronting their insecurities.

On to the next topic - my mini-review of last nights America’s Next Top Model.
The competition is really coming down to the wire. Ambreal went home. I was happy to seee her go. She is a beautiful girl but there is nothing WOW about her… I was also excited to see Lisa in the bottom two. I can’t stand Lisa. As for my girl Bianca being called first, I was really shocked and happy. Bianca has such a strong prescence and I love her smile.

A few of the girls could go home, first off, Saleisha, I don’t care for. She is cute but not model material. Secondly, Chantelle, she is boring in every way. Third, Lisa. She reminds me of Jaslene, scrawny and pointy. So that leaves three. Heather, Jenah and Bianca. As for Heather being 3 years older than the other girls, that is definitely a negative in the modeling world and in my opinion, she is too old to begin a modeling career at 21. Regardless, I think her unique look will bring her far. Jenah looks very common and she needs to crown her teeth in the front. They are not cute. I guess any of the girls going to China could win, it just depends what Tyra is looking for. I am hoping it is not Chantelle, Saleshia or Lisa.
