We’re surprised Ashlee Simpson is able to find one person willing to take a punch for her, let alone two. The lip-synching loser caused a stir at a VMA after-party, when her boyfriend and father fought with a bouncer who pushed her into a wall.

The fracas took place at Vegas nightclub Jet on Sunday (Sept. 9) night, when a security guard refused to let Wentz’ entourage though. Like a typical whiny emo wuss, Wentz threw a hissy fit and the bouncer shoved him, accidentally knocking Ashlee against the wall. That’s when her father, Joe Simpson, entered the fray and began throwing punches at the bouncer.

Joe later confirmed the story to the New York Daily News, telling them, “When somebody messes with my baby, then it’s over!” as the drew his finger across his throat in a slashing motion.
