According to the Tampa Tribune, Hulk Hogan’s son Nick Bollea and a friend have been injured in a car crash.  The crash reportedly occurred on August 26, 2007 at 8PM.  According to the Tampa Tribune, the car careened out of control and hit a palm tree in the median of a four lane highway.

According to police, the car was destroyed on impact.  Nick and his friend had to be freed from the vehicle by the fire department.  The car was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed. 

Both men were taken by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.   While the Tampa Tribune doesn’t give information on how serious the injuries were, Tampa Bays 10 News is reporting that one of the men was injured critically and the other seriously. 

Nick Bollea appears on the reality TV show “Hogan Knows Best” and is better known as Nick Hogan.  He is the son of professional wrestler Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda Hogan.  Nick’s sister is singer Brooke Hogan.
