Brad Pitt received an extra- special gift from partner Angelina Jolie on his 44 th birthday – a 100,000-dollar personalized motorcycle.
The bike was engraved with a tribute to Pitt’s favourite musician, Jeff Buckley.
The front handlebars have a plague that reads “My Sweetheart, the Drunk”, the name of Buckley’s album, reports Contactmusic.
The actor, who turned 44 on Dec 18, was seen taking the bike for a spin earlier this week, after taking delivery of it before his birthday.
Meanwhile Jolie praised Pitt for being a hero during her mother’s death.
The ‘Tomb Raider’ star recently revealed how Pitt helped her through the grief of losing her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died in January this year.
“Brad sat with me and held her hand. After, he spent the night asking me and my brother about our mum and got us to tell funny stories about her,” she told the Mirror.

Last week Hollywood star Angelina Jolie sent two photos and a letter informing the HCM City Department of Justice about the current situation of her Vietnamese adopted child Pax Thien Jolie.
In her letter, the famous mother confirmed that her Vietnamese child is integrating into the new life and developing very well.
The letter was sent from Jolie’s house in California. She wrote that Pax Thien’s fourth birthday was on November 29, 2007. He went to kindergarten with his younger sister and he had many classmates. His English is improving each passing day. Pax Thien can speak complete sentences and he can tell funny stories. He loves to play outdoor, with motored toys.
“We believe he feels very safe in his home. He laughs, sings, tells stories and is very fund to be around. He has a great sense of humor and is very imaginative,” Jolie wrote.
“He is up to date with all his medical exams and vaccinations and has a very big appetite and developing properly. He is a wonderful addition to our family. We love him very much”.
Besides the letter, Jolie sent two latest photos of Pax Thien.
According to Vietnamese laws, foreign parents who adopt a Vietnamese child must send periodical reports (once or twice) of the situation of their adopted child to the Vietnamese authorities in the first three years. Since the fourth year, they have to send an annual report till the child is 18 years old.

Part of being obscenely wealthy and well-known is helping out those who are less fortunate. And this holiday season, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are making their philanthropy a family affair.
The “Beowulf” actress and her 6-year-old son Maddox headed down to the Big Easy (New Orleans, for those of you that aren’t in the know) to lend some support to Daddy Brad Pitt’s “Make it Right” gig.
Jolie spent the day hobnobbing with National Guardsmen in the Lower 9th Ward. She also attended a news conference where Pitt was announcing his latest homebuilding plan for hurricane victims.
If you have $150,000 laying around collecting dust, you can adopt a house with the “Make it Right” peeps and brighten a family’s holiday season. Take it from Brangelina… they’ve already pledged $5 million.

Do you ever feel like your apartment is too cramped? Ever say to yourself, “Gosh I could totally use my own island?” Well if you’re Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie the thought has more than crossed your mind. It’s been reported that the famous duo just bought one of the exclusive islands that make up the super-development, The World In Dubai.
The World, is located just off the coast of Dubai and was developed by state-owned developer, Nakheel. Although no official reports have been announced, it’s rumored that other celebrities such as David Beckham, Richard Branson and Rod Stewart have also purchased islands.
Have no fear, the eco-aware power couple don’t plan on simply using the island for pina-colada, eighties themed reggae parties. Pitt and Jolie have both declared that they are going to use their new chunk of land to spotlight environmental issues and to promote a greener lifestyle.
Following in their famous footsteps, I too will be promoting a greener lifestyle by dreaming about purchasing my own island…where I WILL be having pina-colada, eighties themed reggae parties.

Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks and George Clooney are the celebrities most likely to give nice pop in the polls to any political candidate they endorse. But look out for Rosie O’Donnell, Tom Cruise, Madonna and Donald Trump–they’re the celebrities most likely to torpedo any presidential wannabee.
Celebrities, who love to endorse presidential candidates, are the new feature this month for the Forbes.com political poll known as the Forbes ’08 Tracker. With our partner, California-based E-Poll Market Research, the poll is taking a look at which celebs would help their candidates and who would hurt them.
The selection of 2,213 men and women over the age of 18 were read a list of celebrities and asked how they would respond–positively or negatively–if the celeb were to endorse a political candidate.
The six who would have the most positive impact on the image of a candidate with whom they associated were Oprah, on top, followed by Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Jon Stewart of The Daily Show, Angelina Jolie and Tiger Woods.
On the negative side, our poll shows politicians should be avoiding the likes of Rosie O’Donnell, Tom Cruise, Madonna, Jane Fonda, Donald Trump and Susan Sarandon.
Endorsements by celebrities have a substantially different impact depending on the age of the prospective voter. The younger the vote, the more “positive the perception of a candidate endorsed by a celebrity they admire,” according to the pollsters at E-Poll Market Research.
So Oprah scores 26% positive among 18- to 24-year-olds, but drops to just 11% for those 45 and older. Still, among those 65 and older, Oprah scores better than any other celebrity, with the same 11% saying they would pay positive attention to any politician she might endorse.
On the negative side, Rosie O’Donnell’s endorsement would be most counterproductive among older voters, with 46% of those over 65 saying she would have a negative effect on their perception of any candidate, while 27% of those aged 18 to 34 say she would negatively impact their views. Donald Trump is a negative influence on perceptions pretty much across the age spectrum–21% to 32% of voters saying his endorsement would be counterproductive.
Oprah would also have the greatest positive impact on Barack Obama, followed by Hilary Clinton. Indeed, she did endorse Obama back in May. However, Obama would also be helped by Tom Hanks, George Clooney (who did endorse him as long ago as last December), Jon Stewart and Tiger Woods. Clinton is helped to a lesser extent by George Clooney (whose endorsement of Obama probably rules him out at least until after primary season) and Angelina Jolie.
At the same time, the age of the celebrity matters as well, particularly to younger voters who are also more likely to single out younger celebrities as having the most favorable impact–including Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt, though neither was among the top six favorites of the overall population polled.
Next month, we plan to match celebrities with candidates–which celebrity’s 46 attributes most closely respond to a particular presidential aspirant.

Brangelina has landed — at the Waldorf Towers.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are plunking down nearly $100,000 a month to rent a super-deluxe pad at the ritzy hotel residence on East 50th Street, sources told The Post yesterday.
The pair plus their four kids quietly began recently living in a newly renovated, roughly 6,000-square-foot apartment at the famed site after deciding to make Manhattan their home, at least for the time being, sources said.
The global couple believes that the fully furnished pad is ideal for them, the sources said.
It’s got location — only a stone’s throw from the United Nations, for which Jolie is a goodwill ambassador, and near the tony French school where eldest child Maddox goes.
There’s also plenty of room for the growing family, considering the sprawling apartment features five bedrooms plus a library that they have converted into a sixth, up to six baths and a huge gourmet kitchen.
In addition, the pad boasts terraces with sweeping views of the city.
“It’s actually grander than the [Towers'] Presidential Suite,” one broker said.
And security? Fuhgeddaboutit.
“If they can take care of the leaders of the free world, these people shouldn’t be that much of a problem,” a building source said, referring to the Towers’ past guests, including every U.S. president since Herbert Hoover.
One drawback could involve the laid-back Pitt, who has been known to favor T-shirts and jeans when not attending Hollywood movie premieres.
The snooty Towers, which sits next to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, has a “dress attire” that forbids guests to wear “T-shirts, tank tops, faded jeans, cut-offs and casual hats” in its main lobby, restaurants or other public areas.
Still, the star may be willing to occasionally forgo his casual clothes in exchange for the other perks residents enjoy, including room service, twice-daily maid service, a round-the-clock concierge — even a weekly magic show for the kids.
“Everything you ever need is provided, including a tailor,” one source said. “All you literally need to bring is your toothbrush. And they’ll even provide one of those if you forget yours.”
Pitt and Jolie had considered hunkering down with their young clan at the tony Time-Warner Center, one source said.
But they got a slight cost break at the Towers, where they were given the huge apartment at slightly below the asking price, one source said.
Other smaller apartments at the residence usually rent for between $70,000 and $90,000. But if you’re on a particularly tight budget, you can get a 900-square-foot one-bedroom for about $25,000.
The historic Presidential Suite rents for about $7,500 a night.
The couple should be already comfortable with their surroundings, being no strangers to the place.
Jolie is said to have fallen in love with a four-legged resident during one visit last year: a tiny Yorkshire terrier who freely roamed the halls while his wealthy owners lived there.
The apartments are typically loaded with antiques, with some featuring custom-made, needlepoint rugs, hand-painted murals of Tuscany and marble rotundas.
When one resident wanted to install a lap pool in her pad, management spent a year trying to oblige, although in the end, they were forced to abandon the project.
About 25 percent of the 123 suites are available for long-term use, usually snapped up by everyone from CEOs to celebs.

ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt are doing some serious house hunting in Manhattan in New York.
Our ever-vigilant spies have spotted the dynamic duo recently touring condos at the Time Warner Center on at least two separate occasions. “I can’t discuss which apartments they are looking at,” one staffer in the building said.
But we’re told that one of the units they perused was a 4-bedroom, 4 1/2-bath unit on a high floor in the south tower of the twin-tiered complex with an $US18million-plus price tag. But that still sounds a bit small for their needs.
We also think they might want to be closer to son Maddox’s school, Lycee Francais, on the Upper East Side, at York Avenue and 75th Street. The couple has been occupying an Upper West Side apartment in The Ansonia that Jolie has owned since 1997.

According to sources all is not well in the Jolie-Pitt household. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are the parents of four children, three adopted and one biological. Reports claim the couple disagree with each other on whether to settle down or travel the world as they have been doing.
“Brad doesn’t want the kids moving around the world all the time, and Angelina can’t sit still,” claims a friend of the actress’s. “Angelina is very headstrong.”
Despite the reported problems between the couple, the source says Pitt is still good for Jolie. “He is older and wiser, a rock who gets her to not do everything all the time,” the source adds.
The Jolie friend is quick to add that Jolie and Pitt are “definitely not breaking up.”
The couple has said they are ready for their fifth child, but did not say whether they plan to adopt or have biologically.
